How do your donations accelerate research for a cure and improve the lives of people affected by MS?
Your generosity supports ACP’s initiatives to accelerate MS research for quicker diagnosis, more effective treatments, and a cure for all living with the disease.
The iConquerMS community has contributed to numerous research studies on a wide variety of topics, including the COVER-MS study, which examined the long-term effects of COVID-19 vaccines in people with MS.

From March 2021 to March 2023, people with MS reported any side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines, along with other health details. Researchers studied how side effects were related to each vaccine dose and also looked at reactions after the third dose for different vaccine combinations.
Recently published results show short-term reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine in people with MS were similar to those experienced by the general population.
Older adults and people taking sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor modulators (fingolimod, ozanimod, ponesimod, or siponimod) were less likely to experience reactions to the vaccine.
People who got the Moderna vaccine as their first, second, or third shot were more likely to have reactions compared to those who got the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine.

Your support fuels progress. By donating to ACP, you help us advance innovative research studies like COVER-MS, which are designed to address the real needs of people living with MS. Together, we can create a brighter future for those affected by the disease.
