Leave a legacy that outlasts MS.
A gift in your will costs nothing today and helps fund a future without MS.
A lasting impact
You’ve spent years supporting research that matters to you. A legacy gift lets that support continue long after you’re here to give it directly. Whether MS has touched your life, your family, or someone you love, a gift in your will or estate plan is one of the most meaningful ways to shape the research that comes next.
What a legacy gift offers
It doesn't require wealth or a complicated process. It requires a decision, and a few sentences in your will or estate plan. A legacy gift lets you:
Give later
Support ACP without changing your finances today
Give more
Make a larger gift than might be possible during your lifetime
Choose your impact
Direct your gift toward the work that means the most to you, whether that's iConquerMS, the Repository, or wherever it's needed most
Stay flexible
Change your mind at any time. A bequest isn't binding until it takes effect
Ways to make a legacy gift
A gift in your will or trust
The most common way to leave a legacy gift. You can leave a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or what remains after other gifts are made.
A beneficiary designation
Name ACP as a full or partial beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or bank account. This is often done in minutes through your account provider, without updating your will.
Sample Bequest Language
If you’re working with an attorney or advisor, you can use this language as a starting point:
“I give, devise, and bequeath [a specific amount / a percentage of my estate / the residue of my estate] to Accelerated Cure Project, Inc., [04-3555864], a nonprofit organization located at 800 Lexington Street STE 2 #1069, Waltham, MA 02452, for it’s charitable purposes.”
You’re privacy, you’re pace.
Telling us about a legacy gift is entirely optional, and never binding. Many people choose to let us know so we can thank them and keep them updated on the research their gift will help fund. Others prefer to keep their plans private. Either way, we’re here when you’re ready to talk.
