Jordan Caines
Program Manager
Jordan Caines leads ACP’s RIDE Council (Research Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Council) and co-chairs the iConquerMS Engagement Committee, working to ensure that the voices and experiences of people living with MS are not just heard, but centered in the research meant to serve them. His work bridges the gap between people affected by MS and the researchers and industry decision-makers who shape the direction of the field.
Jordan’s background in mental health gave him an unusually strong foundation for this work. As former Assistant Director of Lines for Life, one of the largest youth crisis lines in the United States, he developed deep expertise in active listening, retaining accurate accounts of people’s experiences, and asking the right questions to deepen understanding — skills he applies directly in his role at ACP. He is clear-eyed about his position and works hard to ensure he is accurately and faithfully representing the experiences of those whose voices have historically been left out of the process.
Based in Los Angeles, Jordan holds a BA in Ethnic Studies and Sociology from the University of Oregon. Outside of work, he is a dedicated sports fan, movie lover, and card game enthusiast.
